From the computer of a missing security officer
Incident report: 9182018
Subject: unidentified sounds/ noise complaint
Responding Officer (R/O): John Hobleton
At 0123hr: R/O received a call from unit #1512. #1512 informed the R/O that they heard something scratching/ tapping on the outside balcony window. There were also reports of a low growling noise followed by what is described as "wings flapping".
At 0205hr: R/O received a second call from #1512. Residents sound panicked on the phone. R/O assured them he found nothing out there. Unit #1512 invited R/O up to have a field contact.
R/O will have to write a second incident report for the property damage. R/O believes too many drugs and booze led to these two annoyance calls this evening.
R/O spoke with male resident. He was in an agitated state. R/O had to keep reminding him to keep his voice down. Male Resident was rambling about a beast he described as some sort of human-sized bat monster composed of shadows with flaming red eyes. Male Resident insists that the creature was hungry for resident’s “soul”. R/O believes that drugs and alcohol have a large part to play in this situation. To put residents and guest at ease, R/O promised to do another check of the perimeter. R/O also advised group to put away the board/candles and call it a night.
At 0225hrs: R/O conducted a second check of the perimeter of the building. R/O was again using the flashlight. R/O experienced a strange gust of wind, as if something had flown directly over him.
Loud audible sound could be heard in R/O’s ears. R/O followed this phenomenon around the building attempting to pinpoint its source with flashlight. R/O was unable to find the noise's origin.
R/O is declaring this an unfound call. R/O assumed his mind was obviously playing tricks on him due to the atmosphere he found in unit #1512. R/O has nothing further to report.
At 0300hrs: R/O received yet another phone call from #1512. The female resident let out what sounded like a joyful scream when R/O answered. Female resident just kept repeating “it’s inside now the dark god is inside now”. Female resident sounded excited/ happy.
R/O heard the sound of breaking glass and cheering in the background. R/O heard Male Resident scream in terror. R/O demanded to know what was going on. Female Resident informed R/O “that he would make his sacrifice”.
More screams from the Male Resident. Phone line has gone dead. Power in the building has now gone out. R/O is going up to unit #1512 to investigate.
BACK… at post… they are mad… 1512… they are all mad… dear God… what is it... what is it… they seemed scared at first… it was all a sham… no cell service in the building… checked… why the hell isn’t there cell phone service…have to remain calm…have to tell people what I saw…have to report… last things I will ever… right no time left… it's coming… I can hear its wings behind me… send help… send help… send………………
